Credit or Bank Draft Authorization Agreement

By registering my child for class, I hereby authorize TLC Dance to charge my credit or debit card for all services and products related to my family’s enrollment in class and activities with TLC Dance.  This is including but not limited to registration fees, tuition, late fees, recital fees, costumes, merchandise, and accessories.  (Note:  Fees are subject to change).  I understand that my credit or debit card will be charged on the 1st business day of each month unless I email my intent to withdraw before the charge is processed for the new month.  I understand that once the monthly installments for the tuition have occurred there will be no refund given should I choose to withdraw.  I agree to notify TLC immediately of any change to the status of my charge account including but not limited to card expiration, name change, limitation of use, loss or theft of the card, etc. In the event that the card is refused for whatever reason, I accept responsibility for full payment of the amount charged as well as a late fee of $10.00.  If I am registering for a set-week session, I understand that this does not apply to me.

August – May Registration

1.  Once registered, the dancer is enrolled for the entire August – May season. 

2.  Registration Fee - There is a $35 annual registration fee per family due at the time of registration.  This fee is nonrefundable. There is no registration fee for the preschool classes that are on a session schedule or summer sessions and classes.

3. To complete enrollment the registration fee (if applicable) and the first month’s tuition payment are due.  This is nonrefundable and should be paid immediately.  

4. In the event we are unable to hold classes in person at the studio alternative arrangements will be made.  This could include but not limited to:  Rescheduled day, outdoors, alternate location, or an online service like Zoom or Google Meets.

Payment and Fees

1. Tuition is due in 10 equal payments August – May

2. Tuition is due and billed on the 1st business day of each month. Auto Pay is recommended. 

3. Any account unpaid after the 10th of the month, including declined payments will be assessed a $10.00 late fee. There will be a $25 charge for checks which are returned for insufficient funds.

4. Tuition for dance is based on an Aug-May enrollment period and is divided evenly over 10 months.  This does not mean your child is committed to 10 months of dance.  It does mean that tuition is charged at the same rate each month, whether it’s a Holiday month or a long month with 5 classes, rather than 4 classes.

5. The following fees are nonrefundable:  Registration fee, the first month tuition, costume fee (once the order has been placed), and recital tickets.

6. Any account delinquent after 45 days your dancer will not be allowed to participate in the class until the account is paid up to date.

 

Inclement Weather 

You will receive an email as well as post on social media sites if the studio is being closed for inclement weather. We will allow for one missed class due to weather without a make up scheduled.  

 

Make-ups & Cancellations 

There will be a class scheduled in November and early Spring to allow students who have missed two or more classes to make up for the absence.

 

Withdrawal

If you wish to withdraw your dancer during the season we would appreciate a 30 day notice.  We understand that is not always possible. Please send an email to withdraw prior to the 1st of the month. Drop requests after the 1st of the month will incur a $10 administration fee. No refunds will be given if the dancer attends class during the month. After recital costumes are ordered, they are non-refundable.
