Lyrical

Our lyrical classes combine the codified technique of ballet with the performative style of jazz to inspire emotions based on movement. Lyrical dance tells a story through fluid movement and passionate expression. Dancers will learn improvisational skills, performance expertise, and graceful movement in choreography. 2 -year Ballet foundation required.

 

Attire: Dancers must wear a leotard, tan convertible tights, dance shorts, with toe paws/half soles for Lyrical II students and pink ballet shoes for Lyrical I students. Hair should be secured in a ponytail or bun. Bring a water bottle.
