Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is a jazz-based genre that flows over into elements of other genres of dance. Classes incorporate the kind of music and choreography typically seen on theatrical stages. This dance form emphasizes dancing to lyrics, using props, connecting with the audience, and dramatizing facial expressions.

 

Attire: Footed tights, leotard or leggings & t-shirt, warm-up layers (jacket or dance sweater) jazz shoes, & tap shoes. Hair should be tied up in a ponytail or bun. Bring a full  water bottle.
